Bundle up and embark on an icy expedition at Tech Explorers: Arctic Adventure! Perfect for young explorers ages 6–11, this one-day camp is packed with STEM-powered fun and frosty creativity.
Campers will kick off the adventure by tackling a LEGO Spike Essentials snow sled build challenge, designing and constructing their own Arctic vehicle. Once complete, they’ll code their sleds to move, bringing their creations to life! Next, they’ll head into the digital world with SCRATCH or SCRATCH Junior to design and program their own Arctic scenes, complete with animals of their own creation—polar bears, penguins, or even mythical creatures!
This thrilling day of hands-on learning and innovation is perfect for budding engineers, coders, and adventurers. By the end of the camp, your child will have conquered icy challenges, created amazing projects, and experienced an Arctic adventure like no other!
Camp Overview
We are serving students ages 6 through 11 in a small group setting (maximum of 12 students). Small groups are key to building community, accommodating our campers' sensory needs (space, noise reduction), and allowing our teachers to provide individualized support to all students!
Weekly camp themes vary and include many different STEM-focused activities.
Location and Hours
Our day camp will take place at the Byzantine Catholic Church located at 114 Palace Lane in Williamsburg, VA. Dropoff is between 8:30 and 9:00 am, with pickup at 2:30 pm, and campers should bring their own nutritious snacks and lunches.
